The AJE serves the United Synagogue and the wider Jewish community by:

• advising the United Synagogue - the Denominational Body for seven Jewish day schools in Greater London
  
  
• advising government departments and agencies
  
  
• channelling information between the government and Jewish schools
  
  
• offering training programmes for Foundation Governors of United Synagogue schools
  
  
• organising training and advisory seminars for Jewish day school governors
