Israel Museum
Located on the hill adjacent to the Knesset, it is built in a manner
reminiscent of a Middle Eastern village with white buildings blending
into the landscape and strewn across the hilltop. It was opened to the
public in 1965.
The museum has four major divisions:
- The Shrine of the Book
- the Bezalel National Museum for the Fine Arts
- the Samuel Bronfman Biblical and Archaeological Museum
- the Billy Rose Art Garden.
